Waste management company in south Canberra seeking an experienced fitter for 7am - 4pm OT daily & Saturdays

Are you a Mechanical Fitter looking for work in the south side of Canberra? This company wants to know about you! This family owned and operated business has a great pipeline of ongoing waste management work for the foreseeable future. They need a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter to join their team in a permanent role and maintain their machines and mobile plant equipment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will work alongside the workshop team to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance. You will ensure inventory management of spare parts and also the return and lock up of tools in the workshop each day. Your maintenance work will include tasks such as fabrication, welding repairs, servicing, general fitting, general repairs. You will also be responsible for communicating with the manager and your team for prioritisation of work, repairs and cleaning of the workshop.

As a Maintenance Fitter you will be trade qualified and have experience with repairing mobile plant and equipment. You will also :
