Job description

Elba Incorporated requires dedicated support workers to join our team on a permanent basis. Our member is a quadraplegic and has a wonderful outlook on life! All training is provided to help care for them.

This position will be for permanent shifts - we are looking for Support Workers to fill our various shifts available - we have morning and afternoon shifts. All training provided.

As Elba Incorporated is a not for profit organisation, all employees employed can Salary Sacrifice part of their pay up to $15900 a year, this is a great tax benefit.
Responsibilities and Duties
Medication Administration
Personal Care including Bladder & Bowel Care (Suppositories)
Hoisting or slide board to assist in transferring to and from bed to commode, wheelchair.
To assist members with a range of activities including :

1. Personal hygiene (including toileting), grooming and presentation; bathing and brushing teeth

2. General household, food preparation, shopping & environmental maintenance tasks;

3. Activities of interest in the home and local community;

4. Daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning rooms and laundry

30.95 - $42.64 per hour
