This is a fixed term full-time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight for 2 years contract, with possibility of extension(s) and / or permanency.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile : The Technical Project Officer - Facilities provides project design, documentation, and coordination services to the Facilities Projects & Minor Works department as well as provides project support as required . This position will ideally suit an Architectural professional as it will provide diverse experience and opportunities for development in health facilities and infrastructure.

Area Profile : The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network thataims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 Western Australians in itscatchment hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary andspecialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, electiveand emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services,aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.

The EMHS consists of Royal Perth Hospital; Armadale Health Service; Bentley HealthService; Kalamunda Hospital; St Johnof God Midland Public Hospital and a range of community and population health services.
