An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience Project Manager to join Ventia’s Project and Workplace solutions team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing sound management of multiple projects varying from small to complex including the project plans, scope definition, timelines, quality definition, assurance and financial control working.

This role is accountable for maintaining client relationships, developing stakeholder lines of communication and ensuring superior project delivery.

You will be part of a small supportive team, reporting to the Senior Project manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the project manager you will :

  • Liaise with clients to gain understanding of what the clients wants / needs are for the project
  • Perform to clients’ expectations, maintaining an environment the focuses on open communication
  • Formulate project management plans addressing Scope, HSE and Quality outcomes
  • Coordinate project from design to construction and through to handover
  • Support the management of construction documents for completeness and ensure all area personnel are aware of the scope and obligations under the contract
  • Actively lead the Design and constructability reviews
  • Maintain project cost plans including forecasting of risks and cost contingencies
  • About You

    Our ideal candidate will have :

  • Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, quantity surveying or similar.
  • Proven project and project team management experience (5 years plus) in a project, construction or similar role
  • PRINCE2 certification will be highly regarded
  • Hi level management and solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing communication and teamwork skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Experience managing a team
  • An ability to manage pressure and maintain a high level of energy
  • Be a strategic thinker, client focused, collaborative, organised and enthusiastic
