The Inclusive Education Division delivers the departments inclusive education agenda to enable students with disability and additional needs to thrive at school and in life. The division supports schools to create safe and inclusive environments for all students to participate, learn, develop and succeed.
The Inclusive Education Professional Practice Branch (IEPP) builds the capability of regional and school-based staff to implement improved inclusive education frameworks, interventions and practices by :
- focusing direction on the development of an organisational culture that establishes and sustains a consistent and supportive school environment for all students
- cultivating collaboration to inform, develop and support inclusive education practices that recognise the unique characteristics of Victoria's education system and meet local demands
- providing a practical model of tiered intervention support where leaders and education professionals can identify the capability required to build a learner's cognitive, emotional and social capabilities
- deepening professional learning to build teacher knowledge, capabilities and attitudes to improve the educational outcomes for all students.
- About the Role
The Change Manager will play a key role in the successful implementation of a statewide IT platform that impacts regional workforces and schools across Victoria. The role will ensure adoption, resistance management and readiness are well-managed through a range of change activities. In this role, you will focus on the people side of change, supporting changes to well-established processes, systems and technology. The primary focus will be developing change strategies and implementing the associated change activities and plans to minimise employee resistance and maximise employee engagement.
The Change Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders in the department to ensure the needs of schools and regional staff are met. This role will involve supervisory responsibility for a project officer who will support the implementation of change activities and stakeholder engagement.
The Change Manager will be responsible for :
Develop and implement a change management strategy to support the implementation of a statewide IT platform considering the needs of diverse end-usersConduct change impact assessments identifying potential resistance points and developing mitigation strategiesDesign and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy including the development of communication artefacts tailored to different stakeholder groupsFacilitate workshops and engagement sessions to build understanding, gather feedback and foster buy-in for the new platformOversee the development of a comprehensive training curriculum to build user skills and confidenceDevelop and implement a sustainability plan for continued adoption of the platform post go-liveEstablish mechanisms to capture user feedback for continuous improvement of change activities and platform enhancementsDesirableQualifications and ExperienceApplications close 11 : 59pm on 15-JUL-2025.
