    • About the role
    • Patches is seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused HR / Payroll person to join our friendly People and Culture team. You will provide hands-on generalist Human Resources support plus processing our fortnightly payroll. This is an ideal opportunity for someone energetic and passionate about people and numbers.

      Specifically, you will have responsibility for the following key duties :

    • Assist with general HR and Payroll queries
    • Support the onboarding process for new staff
    • Liaise with Team Leaders and Managers in relation to the probation process
    • Processing the fortnightly end to end payroll
    • Assist with Employment Hero administration (HR and Payroll platforms)
    • Manage incidents reporting in Employment Hero
    • Provide leave cover for Recruitment Officer

    • Essential Criteria
    • Previous experience working in Human Resources / Payroll
    • Knowledge, understanding and experience with modern awards, leave and allowances payments
    • Demonstrated experience using online platforms or HRIS
    • Ability to work with various stakeholders and exceptional customer service
    • Ability to build strong relationships throughout the organization
    • High attention to detail and organisation skills
    • Ability to work independently, use initiative and to set priorities to meet deadlines
