Glencore employs over 145,000 people operates around 150 operating mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThis role is a member of a hardworking, proactive and committed team who are responsible for safely maintaining the light vehicle fleet and ancillary equipment on site to a high standard.You will be responsible for : Contributing to the daily planned and unplanned maintenance priorities and schedule maintenance activities, including major equipment failures, and corrective actionsReporting the extent & repair status to asset owners (As required)Collaborate with our Maintenance Planners and Supervisors for ongoing maintenance requirements of vehicles and ancillary equipmentCollecting quotes and material requirements for vehicles and ancillary equipment with external suppliers; andSourcing hard to find parts via internet, product information and suppliersAbout YouThis role would suit an Auto-Technician (LV) looking for a rewarding career in mining.
