POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Manager for Australia will be responsible for managing HR functions, driving key HR initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role will focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance with local labor laws, and supporting employee development across the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and local requirements in Australia.
- Ensure smooth HR operations across the three countries by overseeing processes related to recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
- Act as a key advisor to regional leadership on HR matters, including organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning.
- Lead recruitment efforts for key roles, working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure the acquisition of top talent.
- Manage recruitment strategies for diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources in Australia.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, addressing employee concerns and conflict resolution in a proactive manner.
- Lead initiatives to increase employee engagement and retention.
- Ensure alignment with company values, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Identify training and development needs for employees and collaborate with global HR teams to implement learning initiatives.
- Support leadership development and succession planning to build strong leadership pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage employment contracts, terminations, and employee benefits in line with local legislation.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and implement necessary changes to policies and practices.
- Manage and evaluate compensation strategies ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market standards.
- Oversee benefits programs and ensure they comply with local legal requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).7+ years of experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing operations in multiple countries.In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in Australia.Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within Australia.Strong understanding of the cultural nuances and business practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.Preferred Skills :
