Truck Body Builder / Coach Builder

Lift Industries (North) is a North Brisbane based engineering company predominantly servicing south-east Queensland.

We are seeking a Truck Body Builder / Coach Builder to join our Narangba depot. The role is full-time, Monday

Friday, a standard 38 hour week with a lunch time finish on Fridays.Consistent overtime available with paid penalty rates.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for work within a unique industry, in a workshop and within a forward thinking, rapidly growing company.

Your main responsibilities will include

Assist in the assembly of a wide range of purpose-built EWPs including the manufacture of truck bodies and trays.

Assembly and fitting of vehicle accessories such as on-deck tool boxes, handrails, etc.

Assist in day-to-day tasks as per Team Leader's instruction, including general and specific tasks to assist the Lift Industries team.

Assist in the repairs and maintenance of related products.

Experience in the fitment of hydraulic equipment would be an advantage.

You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail.

Vehicle industry experience preferred but not essential.

The ability to read and understand technical drawings is advantageous.

Working to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality workmanship.

Working a variety of tasks using hand tools and power tools.

Working well independently whilst being part of a team.

A trade qualification would be looked on favourably.
