    Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care / ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney's western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

    The successful incumbent will provide effective and efficient service to patients and clients attending the Nepean Cancer Care Centre (NCCC) and to provide support to clinical teams working in the Centre. You will be required to work on the following days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday working 8 hours per day with shift start times varying (between 07 : 00, 07 : 15, 08 : 00, 08 : 30 and 09 : 00).

    • What you will bring to the role
    • Extensive administrative experience, including reception duties and well developed skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills when dealing with people with complex health needs
    • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Capacity to undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment
    • Experience in record maintenance and filing
    • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritise, co-ordinate and time manage daily tasks
    • Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
