Operations Manager

The Unity Project (TUP) focuses on helping people with complex disabilities to achieve fuller, better lives. We offer independent living opportunities for members of the community living with complex disabilities to live in individual or shared accommodation with 24 hour support.

• About the role

The Operations Manager, you will be a key stake holder in driving opreational efficiency and excellence. Your responsibilities will include :

• Strategic Planning
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Process Optimisation
• Streamline and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Team Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team.
• Budget Management
• Oversee budgetary planning and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Quality Control
• Implement and maintain quality control standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
• About you
• Extensive experience in relationship development and management
• Extensive experience in customer service, with strong business acumen
• Proven ability to work in incident response and crisis coordination, including accurate reporting and effective decision making
• Proven ability to effectively identify business insights, trend analysis and reporting
• Experience in MYP, Proda, Xero preferred
• Expert facilitation and communication skills (written and verbal, including presenting to groups)
• Demonstrated ability to perform business related activities such as negotiation, support coordination planning and experience in developing staff
• Demonstrated clinical expertise including authoring of behavioural support plans
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver balanced outcomes across customer, financial and workforce perspectives
• Experience in Trauma Informed care models
• Knowledge of customer review panel processes (desirable)
• Current driver's license and willingness to travel as required
• Formal Education in related field
• Relevant probity clearance and willingness to undertake state required pre-employment checks
