About the role :

A unique opportunity is available for an experiencedConstruction Manager to join our high performing delivery team in the ACT construction business to play a lead role in the delivery of a major, long-term project in Canberra.

As the leader of our construction team, you will have the opportunity to successfully oversee, from construction through to handover, the delivery of this high-level project.

This role will see you :

Managing consultants, contractors, project resources and programme in order to deliver the project to the highest quality, sustainability, and safety standards.

Coordinate, motivate and operationally assist project teams, to work collaboratively towards achieving project objectives.

Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies.

Upskill team members within the Project & Site Delivery divisions.

To be successful, you will need :

To be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.

A Government Security Clearance, or the ability to gain and maintain one.

12+ years’ experience in the construction industry.

Proven experience leading the delivery of major projects, as a Construction or Project Manager.

Experience delivering large scale commercial office, government, defence, and / or health care project experience.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration and achieve results.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
