Your role and responsibilities Perform service tasks, identify technical problems, and analyze issues through remote or onsite activities across various service categories (installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering, consulting, advanced services, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, replacements, etc.) Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer orders and expectations. Build and maintain good relationships with customers and understand their needs. Identify new sales opportunities and communicate them internally. Coordinate, prepare, and ensure the availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment for service activities. Prepare all necessary documents and reports for customer signatures, and report work completed in a timely manner, following up as needed. Identify potential equipment failures and request proactive corrective actions. Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence. Suggest product and quality improvements and communicate these within ABB. Provide management with recommendations to improve operations and customer service. Follow all safety procedures and practices, including wearing personal protective equipment, attending safety training, and reporting hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses. Qualifications for the role Electrical License mandatory, with at least 4 years of industry experience, preferably with switchgear. Understanding and competence in protection relays, with primary and secondary injection testing experience. Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications. Ability to negotiate amicably and provide excellent customer service. Knowledge of electrical testing fundamentals is an advantage. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret electrical drawings. Effective communication skills and a proactive mindset for improvements.
