The Assurance Team monitors the performance of the NDIS from the perspectives of the Queensland Government, the community, and Queenslanders with disabilities relying on high-quality, safe NDIS services.
The Principal Analyst leads analysis and oversight of care and support sector service systems, including data extraction from large datasets, data management, analysis, monitoring, and reporting. The ideal candidate is client-focused, experienced as a data analyst, a critical thinker, and an effective communicator capable of working under pressure to achieve quality outcomes.

The Principal Analyst's Key Responsibilities Include : Providing informed advice to the department and government on complex operational, program, policy, and legislative issues related to disability reform and the care and support sector in Queensland, focusing on the NDIS and impacts for people with disabilities, including outcomes, public confidence, value for money, and system sustainability. Utilizing contemporary methods to extract relevant information from large datasets and diverse sources. Critically analyzing data to build evidence on service access equity and progress in disability reform implementation. Preparing and contributing to written materials such as cabinet submissions, reports, briefing notes, and speeches regarding programs and initiatives. Communicating complex data and evidence clearly to various audiences. Engaging with stakeholders to support policy and program development related to disability services. Supporting data governance responsibilities, including data security, privacy, records management, and data sharing, and managing reporting resources. Leading efforts to contribute to the National Disability Data Asset, including achieving accreditation and advising on its use. Supporting team tasks in a dynamic environment to promote innovation and efficient delivery. Exercising leadership to foster a positive work culture aligned with public sector values, including supervising and mentoring team members. Applications remain current for 12 months.
