Our practice was established in July 2019 and since this time has treated thousands of patients for a variety of health conditions, and for optimising health and longevity.

Our philosophy is one of using food as medicine wherever possible, to improve our patients' health and wellbeing.Position : This is a part-time on-site role as a Practice Manager at Sydney Low Carb Specialists in Castle Hill, NSW.

The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the medical practice, managing staff, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice.Permanent, Part-time, Employee positionOn-site 3 days / week, 9-5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and ThursdayWe offer a competitive remuneration package above the Award rate (Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2010 - MA000027) which will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.

A rate of $40-50 / hourKey Responsibilities : ?Coordinate the smooth & efficient management of the daily operations of the practice by developing a strong knowledge of practice policies and procedures, Xestro medical record keeping & billing software, patient flow and troubleshooting of operational issues?Supervise and provide mentorship to a team of reception staff (2-3 members)? Provide support to our team of Clinicians - 2 Doctors, 1 Dietitian, 1 Health Coach & an external Exercise Physiologist? Maintenance & regular updating of the clinic website? Organise, promote and be responsible for the smooth running of community information sessions, health coaching online and in-person programs and our annual Central West NSW outreach clinics? Organise and promote the speaking engagements of our doctors at conferences and community events? Identify areas of improvement and drive change? Nurture and develop strong relationships with external healthcare professionals; Liaise with other medical and non-medical organisations as required particularly with engagement with other health professional providers in the Hills Shire Council area to foster referral networks? Payroll of contractors, rostering and recruitment management? Able to cover reception duties when needed such as patient billing, appointment scheduling and receiving phone calls / new patient inquiries?A positive and professional attitude to engage a whole team approach.?An approachable and professional manner? Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.? Demonstrate a high quality of work with attention to detail? Uphold practice values, punctuality and reliability?Previous experience in a General Practice / Allied Health environment? Experience in human resources, recruitment, team management and leadership? Experience with Medical record keeping software & / or accounting software? Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system, Medicare Benefits Schedule, Private Health Funds, Private Billings?Demonstrated proficiency in the ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of quality with limited supervision?Be proactive in response to any issues / challenges that arise, proactively seek and implement solutions? Interest in business growth through actively marketing and promoting the clinic online and using in-person opportunities such as local distribution of marketing content and meetings where required with other health providers? Demonstrate a basic understanding of the spectrum of low carb lifestyles and have a passion for health and wellness through this approach? Strong organisational and multitasking skills? Certificate or Diploma in Practice Management or Business Management will be highly regarded.

Diploma or degree in healthcare administration or related field is a plus? Marketing and promotion skills?Work within a collegiate, supportive and family friendly environment?A workspace, with beautiful natural lighting, within a newly renovated specialist medical hub.?Training support available at all times from our practice principals?Work within an experienced and passionate multidisciplinary team in a cutting-edge field of medicine?You are entitled to paid leave (e.g.
