Our opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Development Manager with master planned community experience to join our Melbourne team. You will be responsible for working within the team to manage and deliver projects including taking responsibility for various aspects of financial and program delivery.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Create and manage project feasibility – single stage, multi stages, JV models and all components of financial model.
  • Establish and manage budgets and cash flows accurately.
  • Enter into and negotiate / finalise negotiations.
  • Review and manage development programme and brief.
  • Write formal business correspondences, reports and presentations.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes and know when to escalate to management.
  • Ability to identify all aspects of development including identifying deficiencies, standardisation, innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value.
  • Identify and communicate ‘the bigger picture’, new business opportunities, and put together requirements.
  • Value management of all aspects and stages of the project.

Your point of difference

You will be professionally qualified with demonstrated master planned community development experience, including a solid understanding of procurement, planning and tendering processes and expertise in legal, regulatory, and other industry matters.

You will have excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills coupled with stakeholder management and be confident guiding the team on technical matters while effectively dealing with ambiguity and complexity to drive win-win outcomes to a project.
