Your role and responsibilities :

As a Mechanic at Transdev John Holland Buses, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our bus fleet. This includes :

Repairing, servicing, and maintaining buses to meet regulatory standards

Road testing vehicles as required

Attending breakdowns on and off-site

Identifying and repairing vehicle defects

The talent you bring :

Current NSW MVTC Motor Mechanic trade certificate (essential) + TAFE Cert III Heavy Vehicle Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology

Current HR drivers license (or ability to obtain)

Computer literacy for accurate maintenance record keeping

Capability to supervise and assist in training apprentices and trade assistants

Experience with scan tools (desirable)

Experience in bus maintenance and public transport operations (desirable)

Potential annual earnings of up to 100K + super (including shift allowance and overtime)

Hours of work :

After an initial training period on day shift, you will commence a 2-week rotating roster which includes work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Day shift : 6am-2.30pm

Mid shift : 10.30am-7pm (15% shift allowance is payable for the entire shift)

Afternoon shift : 2.30pm- 11pm (15% shift allowance is payable for the entire shift)

Locations :

We have vacancies at the following depots :

Waverley (approx. 600 metre walk from Bondi Junction train station)

Randwick (site parking available and close to Light Rail stop)
