Civil Supervisor

Our client is a leading civil construction company working with top tier mining clients across Western Australia.

Currently they are seeking a

• Civil Supervisor
• to provide leadership to operational crews and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the teams. Reporting into the Civil Superintendent to ultimately ensure a safe system of work and environment.
• Accountabilities include, however are not limited to
• Work with Civil Superintendent to prepare work schedules and assign priorities
• Schedule and assign employees to help deliver goals and outcomes
• Maximise operational performance across all facets of the operation
• Implement all safety standards and systems
• Conduct area inspections
• Ensure risk management practices are implemented and adhered to
• Ensure pre checks are conducted and any faults reported and rectified
• Engage with employees to promote a Zero Harm culture
• Coach and train where needed
• Conduct safety based observations on high risk jobs and tasks
• Facilitate HSE information across the teams
• Track operation performance
• About you

You will bring a minimum of 5 years previous experience within mining and the resources sector, essentially within civils, dam tailings and bulk earthworks. You will possess demonstrated positive safety leadership and safety behaviour skills. As an effect people manager with strong communication skills you will build effective teams and encourage team work.
