Job descriptionAbout the role General Maintenance Fitter Team Leader you will assist the General Maintenance Supervisor / Engineer with organisation and running of the General Maintenance department and improve the technology and processes of the glass bottle manufacturing through capital projects. Key Responsibilities for the role Develop the weekly maintenance work schedule, execute and monitor scheduled works in order to ensure machines are in their optimum working condition and work orders are all in thoroughly. Order critical spare parts and engineering services from national and international suppliers. Provide On Call advice to day shift & afternoon shift fitters outside of normal hours and possibly assist in coordinating breakdown repairs. Conduct preventative maintenance according to site requirements. Ensure that the general maintenance team have adequate tools and resources to be able to refurbish parts and maintain equipment as required Skills & experience Qualified Maintenance Fitter (Cert III in Engineering & Fitter). At least 3 years experience in a similar production type team leadership role. At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of utilities and packaging equipment. Experience in working knowledge of CMMS (computerised maintenance management systems). Experience working with automated manufacturing environment.
