Plant Operator Mt Louisa

Holcim is currently expanding their Mt Louisa team and is looking for a Plant Operator with Front End Loader experience to join us.

Roles in concrete plants are fast-paced and require strong problem-solving skills, process orientation, and attention to detail.

Start times vary depending on operational needs, typically between 4 am and 6 am, with occasional earlier starts.

Responsibilities include :

• Operating a front end loader and forklift
• Producing concrete using various systems and processes
• Assigning loads to drivers
• Managing stock and coordinating deliveries
• Overseeing site maintenance by contractors
• Providing high-quality customer service

We are willing to train the right candidate on our systems and processes. Overtime opportunities are available.

About you :

You should have experience in a similar role, with the ability to operate a front end loader and forklift.

Being a team player with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in career development is essential.

While we will provide training on our systems, you should possess good computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Docs) and an eagerness to learn new systems and processes. This role offers a chance to grow your skills in a dynamic environment with potential for career advancement.

Key skills include excellent communication (both written and verbal), quick learning ability, and outstanding customer service.

You will need to pass a police check, a full medical including functional assessment, and drug and alcohol screening.

You must hold unrestricted Australian work rights, with no limitations on hours or employment duration. We cannot accept student or holiday visas.
