Overview :

  • Business Contribution

The HR Business Partner will provide support to the Australia location.

A business first HR partner who collaborates with all levels of leadership, including executives, and employees to drive HR strategy and solutions forward. Serve as an employee champion and change agent demonstrating a strong emphasis on increasing leadership capabilities, driving employee engagement, and promoting a high-performance work culture. This role will serve as a consultant with respect to performance and talent management, driving employee engagement initiatives, organizational design & effectiveness, and supporting talent and diversity initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Employee advocate and business partner to employees in Australia sites and entities with potential further support to SEA region as well.
  • Design and execute aligned change programs consistent with strategy ensuring organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement working with the HR centers of excellence on programs & policies to ensure efficient and effective people management to drive business results and optimize employee engagement.
  • Partner with business and global / regional HR to provide relevant people solutions to business challenges.
  • Develop and continually improve the employee value proposition to attract, develop and retain talent.
  • Actively drive the talent agenda in partnership with the leadership team, ensuring that identified talent has actionable development plans in place.
  • Organizational development : Drive the creative process, together with the business leaders to identify and implement most effective staffing structures that foster a rapidly changing and complex environment. Promote core values, drive personnel development, conduct training and workshops, lead change management, foster relationships etc.
  • Coach Managers and high potential employees
  • Partner with leaders in implementing strategic initiatives to attract, engage and retain talent
  • Provide guidance for managers and employees on situations involving employee relations matters, performance management and engagement.
  • Interpret HR policy and procedure and identify improvements within the HR function. Partner with the management team to communicate HR policy changes, procedures, and programs to the organization.

  • Demonstrable HR expertise and manifest high performer in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven strategic business partner and influencer that has developed talent across geographic and / or functional boundaries.
  • Well versed within employee relations, engagement, recruitment, talent, and performance management.
  • Ability to create, and execute through others, best practice frameworks to drive global consistency
  • Proven successful change management experience across geographical and / or functional boundaries
  • Resilient and hands on - can handle volume and pace
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs especially during times of high volume and / or stress.
  • Exceptional prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to resolve conflict directly and productively
  • Strong communicator - evidence of representing the function in senior level meetings
  • Able to be flexible and creative in a challenging and fast paced environment
  • Relevant experiences in manufacturing and service industries are preferred.
  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of HR, Business Management, or related field and at least four years' demonstrated experience; preferably with some experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Minimum of two years of strategic Human Resource experience
