- Relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, software engineering or a related technical field, with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Knowledge of research protocols, experimental design and planning as involved in developing research projects and reporting against milestones.
- Proven expertise in AI-related technologies including natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with tools and platforms such as Transformers, Hugging Face, NLTK, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Experience in WordPress or similar tools.
- Experience in full-stack development, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and database management.
- Experience working with APIs (REST and JSON) to support seamless data flow between backend systems and frontend user interfaces.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in database design and management.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal communication skills to initiate and maintain effective stakeholder relationships whilst exercising discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
