Joining the team at KI means being part of a company that values the environment and the community.About the roleWe are seeking aMechanical Maintenance Plannerto join our team at Kooragang Island, Newcastle.What you will be doingCoordinate with vendors for quotes and job planning, and interact with others to discuss task hazards;Plan, schedule, and distribute weekly schedules, including plant shutdowns, and prepare work packs for upcoming shutdowns and weekly tasks;Run and analyze SAP reports, implement planning process improvements, and conduct workshops;Ensure all contractors are inducted before coming onsite and that no statutory inspections are delayed or unplanned; andMaintain a total commitment to the safety of all personnel on site.What you will bringMechanical trades background;Excellent understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance module;Ability to identify and eliminate potential hazards to personnel and the environment;Excellent e / mail, phone and personal communication skills;Ability to communicate with key stakeholders;Experience in planning for multiple trades; and5 years' experience in a heavy / chemical industry.What we offerAs part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
