Apply now to be part of our team.Job summary : Flexible hours available1 year of relevant work experience required for this roleWork visa will be provided for this roleExpected salary : $71,000 - $75,000 per yearWe are looking for a Baker to prepare different types of breads and a wide range of pastries.Responsibilities of the role include : Overseeing and checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulationsQuality control checks of raw materialsStock management, order ingredients as neededWeighing flour and other ingredients to prepare doughKneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goodsPreparing pastry fillingsBake different types of breads and pastries including sourdough, bagels, brioche, baguettes.Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking timesCoordinating and contributing to the production process including preparation, baking, cooling and packing of bread, rolls and pastry productsGlazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icingEmptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipmentRequirements and Skills : Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similarFamiliarity with all professional kitchen equipment, mixers, dough sheets etcUnderstanding of food safety practicesExcellent time management skillsAbility to work as directed and as part of a teamAbility to work under pressure
