Salary range : $2516.80 to $2665.80 p.a. (HWF2)4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading12.75% employer contribution to superannuationPlus Salary Sacrificing options may be availableAbout your opportunity As a member of the Cultural Assessment and Liaison Team (CALT), Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service and Specialist Services Program Area you will participate in and contribute to the delivery of a culturally sensitive and appropriate care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients who access the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service.

Requirements : Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.Certificate III in Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.Blue Card Checks : Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a 'working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.All employees of Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.Drivers Licence : This position requires the incumbent to operate a class "C" motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.Probation period may apply.Pre-employment checks will be conducted.Applications Contact : Latifah Khalu on (07) 4433 8122.
