Dental Clinical Assistant - Permanent Part Time

A to Z Dental is a general dental practice in Cannington. Our practice is open 6 days a week with appointments available from 9 : 00am to 6 : 00pm.

We are seeking a Dental Clinical Assistant (DCA) to join our family. Any level (no experience, to very experienced) is welcome to apply. Wage is based on

• Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 Award Rates
• with room to negotiate based on experience after probation period.

The position is available immediately and job training will be provided as required. The shift currently available is Mon to Fri from 10 : 00am to 2 : 00pm (and occasional Saturdays if required). More shifts may become available with further experience in the position. You may be required to assist at reception on occasion but the position will be mainly chairside & sterilisation.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes :

Qualified or working towards a qualification in dental assisting would be highly desirable

Infection Control and sterilisation knowledge and skills

Possess excellent people and time management skills

Friendly and professional in nature and overall demeanour

Good organisational skills as well as the ability to multi task

Able to pick up extra shifts to cover colleagues when necessary would be highly desirable

Current first aid certificate highly desirable

National Police Check to be completed prior to start
