About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced MC Driver (Float & Platform) to join the team in a full time capacity. In this role you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of large freight using a well-maintained Volvo Automatic Truck, with a Drake 6x8 Steerable low-loader platform trailer, with as required a 2x8 extension.

This role requires a driver with strong previous experience in float and platform operations , (preferrable Drake) demonstrating expertise in loading, unloading, and securing various types of freight.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate an MC licensed Volvo truck and Drake platform trailer.
• Transport general freight from Perth to regional WA, including regular trips to our mining operations in the Pilbara.
• Demonstrate proficiency in loading, unloading, and securing large and varied freight on a platform trailer.
• Possess practical experience with float operations for loading and unloading machinery or oversized items.
• Complete pre-start checks and report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork.
