Our client is a global drinks company that create and distribute a world class portfolio of beverages. Due to company growth and new strategic direction, they are looking for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Southern Regional Sales Manager to join the team managing state based key accounts predominantly on-premise in NSW, ACT, VIC, SA and TAS.

Reporting through to the Head of Sales you'll be responsible for the development and implementation of the sales strategy to improve the competitive position, market share and overall profitability for the states.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Drive sales within key channels and increase distribution and ultimately grow market share
  • Achieve agreed KPIs, including sales targets
  • Assist with management of Metcash MSOs and Key On-Premise Account Groups - 80 % of the role will be on-trade focused
  • Manage and forecast stock on hand for the state in direct and wholesaler warehouses
  • Provide monthly sales reports, and feedback on the market
  • Identify venues where business opportunities exist
  • Provide support to venues through specialised advice including; pricing, menu development, category and industry insights
  • Ensure development and management of key accounts
  • Manage wholesaler relationships
  • Build lasting relationships within the industry
  • Ideally you will be have the following attributes :

  • Highly motivated & passionate in delivering sales performance
  • Current relationships / contacts with state based key accounts predominantly on-premise
  • Ability to work collaboratively & manage stakeholders
  • Desire to continually learn & develop
  • Hunger to succeed in a competitive industry
  • Energetic, enthusiastic with a positive can do attitude
  • Previous experience in a similar role ideally within drinks
  • Ability to build positive professional customer relationships
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills
  • KPI management through CRM
  • Please note that interstate travel will be required every 4-6 weeks.
