About This Role

Brunel is partnered with a leading provider of digital mining technology solutions to offer excellent opportunities for ICT & Technical professionals in Australia. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team, working on the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) across national and international sites.

The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing CAS technology on mining vehicles, acting as the onsite representative, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with EHS standards, conducting site audits, and preparing documentation. You will also deliver training on CAS systems and provide troubleshooting and maintenance support, with travel flexibility required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an early-career technician with mining site experience or an auto electrician transitioning into mining. Relevant background includes LV / HV auto-electrical work, basic networking (LAN / WAN), or equipment installation. Certifications like Post-trade electrical or electronic qualifications and a Working at Heights ticket are advantageous.

The candidate should have high attention to detail, a strong work ethic, flexibility, good communication skills, and willingness to travel extensively. This role is suited for motivated individuals eager to develop technical skills in the mining technology sector.
