We are looking for qualified and experienced Trainers and Assessors to deliver the Certificate IV Building and Construction & / or the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
Multiple delivery options are available with roles covering :
- Face-to-face classroom based delivery in training venues in Sydney
- Face-to-face workplace based delivery at construction sites in Sydney
- Online live and interactive virtual classroom delivery.
Reporting to the Training Manager, both weekday and evening delivery options are available.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited toPlanning for delivery sessions including consulting with workplaces where applicable;The delivery of the Certificate IV Building and Construction & / or the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) in part or full;The review and grading of student's assessments ensuing that the principles of assessment and rules of evidence have been met.About youYou will possess an interest in imparting your deep industry knowledge to those eager to learn and expand their Building and Construction careers. You have a strong customer focus, and the ability to multi-task and be flexible and adaptable in your approach.
You will be an exceptional communicator, who is able to work well both autonomously and in a team environment. The capability to build rapport and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are crucial to the role.
Skills, Experience & QualificationsRecent building and construction industry experience (of at least 5 years and current);Current technical knowledge related to the National Construction Code and workplace safety legislation;CPC40220 Certificate IV Building and Construction or CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) or equivalent qualifications or have sufficient and current vocational competence that would allow for a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process to be completed;TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or approved equivalent;A current driver's licence (where workplace delivery is required);Strong relationship building skills with expertise in the effective management of diverse internal and external stakeholder groups;A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively;Sound knowledge of operational requirements in relation to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations.Job TypePart-timePart-time hours : 20 per week
