The core capability requirements for this role areContribute to the understanding and evaluation of various crime and community safety initiatives.Undertake research, analysis and review of data relating to crime, community safety and other issues to provide appropriate recommendations.Liaise with other agencies to maintain networks and negotiate access to information or data to produce reports, bulletins and briefs related to statistics.Assist the Statistician and Strategic Intelligence Unit to endure that outputs satisfy standards for integrity, accuracy and timelines based on quality principles and methodologies.Provide technical advice, information and support to clients and Manager on diverse issues.Prepare reports, answers questions to questions on notice, briefing notes, commentary and presentations using approved statistical standards.The successful applicant / s will be required to undergo psychometric assessment, prior to appointment.

Shift work may be a requirement of the role.
