Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join us on a permanent fulltime basis. This position reports to the Health and Safety Manager and is based at our Perth CBD Head Office with site visits as required.
As a Health and Safety Advisor you will be responsible for :
Providing guidance and mentoring to site-based Safety Advisors working on various mine site shutdowns, maintenance and projectsBuilding and maintaining relationships with employees and clientsDriving Health and Safety compliance throughout all aspects of the businessSupporting the Health and Safety Manager in the development and implementation of Health and Safety strategiesMonitoring Health and Safety Management System processes and procedures in compliance with relevant standards and legislative requirementsEstablishing, implementing, and regularly reviewing Site Safety Advisor initiative programs and KPI'sReporting all non-conformances for continuous improvement opportunitiesProviding guidance to Operations Managers and others in relation to Health and Safety Management PlansCompiling Health and Safety End of Month ReportingABOUT YOURelevant tertiary WHS qualification (as a minimum Certificate IV)Qualified to undertake ICAM InvestigationsMinimum of 3 year's operational site experience within the resourcing sectorExperience maintaining Health and Safety Management systems, processes and proceduresStrong written and verbal communication skills as well as sound negotiation skillsDocument and record management skillsRio, FMG, Roy Hill, BHP, Newmont, or Goldfields inductions are advantageousIN RETURNYou will be joining an existing team that will give you the onboarding and training to create a successful career with Linkforce.
