The Role
NextSense has exciting opportunities for passionate, family centred Speech Pathologists to join our Victorian Early intervention Hearing team at Moonee Ponds, Brighton or Blackburn. These are part-time or full-time roles, working up to 38 hours per week across 5 days and report directly to a Team leader in Melbourne. You’ll make a difference in this role by :
- providing high quality, client-centred services that assist individuals with hearing and vision loss to achieve their goals and aspirations
- implementing best practice services for clients in clinical and educational settings
- providing evidence-based assessment, intervention supports and other strategies to assist clients in achieving outcomes
- delivering services in person, via telepractice, in a NextSense centre, client home, school or other appropriate setting
- using a person / family centred framework when providing services
- developing, delivering and evaluating Individual Support Plans and progress reports with the client, their family and relevant others

Essential :
Bachelor in Speech Pathology or equivalentMinimum 1 years’ experience providing speech pathology servicesPracticing member of Speech Pathology AustraliaDemonstrates sound clinical skills and knowledgeWorks collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary teamContributes to client outcomes in a team settingValid driver's licenceWorking With Children CheckNDIS Worker CheckDesirable :
