Automotive Body Building Apprentice

WPC Group has an opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and committed individual who wants to start their career in the heavy vehicle industry, but wants to be more than just a mechanic. In this apprenticeship, you will work towards obtaining a Certificate III in Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations.

Our partner is well known within the industry in serving a reputation for being a leader in supporting the entire value chain and life cycle of road, bulk and refrigerated transportation.

• About the Role
• Fabricate parts, welding, body repairs
• Maintain a hydraulic and air suspension / braking systems
• Install and repair electrical systems
• Operate load shifting equipment
• Finish and paint vehicle body part surfaces
• About You
• A passion for heavy duty semi trailers
• Reliable and punctual
• Great time management
• Drivers License and own vehicle to get around, or close to obtaining
• Committed to a 4-year apprenticeship, including practical studies at TAFE
