As a Health and Security Assistant (HSA), you'll play a dual role—providing vital support in both patient care and hospital security.

- In this role, you'll
- Assist with patient care and ensure safe, respectful transport throughout the hospital
- Respond to and support the de-escalation of aggressive or challenging behaviours
- Work side-by-side with experienced health and security professionals
- Help maintain a calm, secure, and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- About You
- You are a calm and confident problem solver, able to de-escalate situations with professionalism. Your strong communication skills allow you to work effectively with patients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- You have proven experience in handling challenging situations with professionalism and care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
- The successful applicant will hold a valid security licence
- You must have
- Class 1A security licence under the Security Industry Act, 1997
- Ability to work shift work.
