Overall Role PurposeAs a HSQE Coordinator at DHL Industrial Projects, you will support the regional HSQE team by assisting with health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance across various projects and operations. You will work closely with regional HSQE managers and operational teams to ensure adherence to DHL IP HSQE policies and procedures, contribute to safety initiatives, and help drive a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility.
Accountabilities, Customers, Other Stakeholders & ProcessAssist in the implementation and monitoring of DHL IP HSQE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with international, national, and local legislation.Support incident reporting, investigations, and assist in root cause analysis in collaboration with HSQE and operational teams.Assist in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for employees, subcontractors, and partners.Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance with HSQE requirements through document review, audits, and site visits as required.Assist in maintaining HSQE data and reporting for regional and global performance KPIs.Provide support in developing and administering HSQE training and awareness programs for employees and subcontractors.Collaborate with operational teams to promote and monitor safe working practices and share best practices across regions.Support HSQE project-specific plans, ensuring alignment with client and contractual requirements.Assist in compiling and maintaining records of safety inspections, audits, and corrective actions.Coordinate the collection and analysis of HSQE performance data for regional and global reporting.Help organize and participate in regional HSQE meetings, virtually and in-person.Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support HSQE objectives and initiatives.Assist in identifying opportunities for improving health, safety, and environmental practices within projects and regions.Skills / QualificationsRequired QualificationsNEBOSH (International) General Certificate or equivalent in HSQE discipline.Recognized safety certification (IOSH / SIA etc.).Familiarity with incident reporting and investigation processes.Desired QualificationsAuditor training in ISO 45001, 14001, or 9001.Membership in a recognized safety organization (IOSH / SIA, etc.).Basic First Aid certification.DesiredExperience1-3 years' experience in health and safety or a related field.Experience in assisting or supporting safety operations in logistics, transport or lifting environments.Key Capabilities /SkillsOrganizational and coordination skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with teams and promote a culture of safety.Basic understanding of continuous improvement practices.Passionate about Health & Safety and a proactive attitude towards learning.Why DHL?Apart from a competitive hourly rate; positive & friendly team, the ability to cross train and offer career progression we also have some awesome Employee Benefits.
