- About the Role
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the routine servicing and maintenance of a wide range of fire safety systems and equipment. This role involves managing service schedules, supervising technical staff, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Supervisor must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.

Personnel ManagementSupervisionLead and supervise a team of service technicians, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.TrainingConduct or arrange for ongoing training to ensure technicians are knowledgeable about the latest fire protection technologies and safety practices.SchedulingDevelop and manage work schedules to ensure timely service delivery and efficient use of resources.Operational OversightService CoordinationPlan and coordinate routine servicing activities for fire safety measures, including but not limited to :Sprinkler systemsFire Detection & Alarm SystemsEmergency Warning & Intercom Systems / Building Occupant Warning SystemsFire Hydrant systemsFire Hose Reels, Portable Fire Extinguishers & Fire BlanketsFire Booster PumpsFire & Smoke DoorsPassive Fire ElementsEmergency and Exit Lighting SystemsOther Essential Fire Safety MeasuresQuality ControlEnsure all services are performed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.Problem ResolutionAddress and resolve technical issues, customer complaints, and operational challenges promptly and effectively.Administrative DutiesDocumentationMaintain accurate records of service activities, equipment status, and compliance reports. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.Budget ManagementAssist in budgeting and cost management for service operations. Monitor expenditures and optimize resource allocation.ReportingGenerate regular reports on service performance, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.Customer RelationsClient InteractionServe as a primary point of contact for clients regarding service inquiries, scheduling, and issues. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.Service AgreementsManage service contracts and agreements, ensuring all terms are met and renewals are handled efficiently.Compliance and SafetyRegulatory AdherenceEnsure all service activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to fire protection and safety.Safety PracticesPromote and enforce safety protocols within the service team.
