About the role :
The Senior Financial Accountant will provide a high level of finance support to our Finance Manager. You will assist in leadership, and oversight of the central financial management and reporting function to ensure effective management of financial resources and budgets. This will include financial reporting, audit, tax compliance, revenue recognition, insurance and investments.
Your Key Duties will include :
- Drive efficiencies and process improvements within the organisation, continually reviewing and improving processes.
- Provide timely and accurate advice, reporting and compliance.
- Assist with the provision of timely, accurate and insightful financial and commercial management information to meet the business needs across all areas of the business.
- Proactively seek out opportunities to assist all parts of the business with best practice financial advice.
- Coordinate and support statutory and other compliance matters (external audit, internal audit, tax, company secretarial)
- Month-end processing and reporting
- Establish strong and trusted working relationships with business leaders to understand and support their needs; support them in developing a commercial mindset and inform their strategic decision-making processes.
- Actively contribute towards increasing the profile of the Finance and Operations team, building a culture of service excellence with a customer mindset
- Ad hoc projects as directed by the finance manager and financial controller
About You :
CPA / CA qualified with a solid background in financial accounting.High level of technical experience in accounting, financial reporting, external audit management and tax complianceStrong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders with competing prioritiesWell-developed written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to implement new systems and processes.Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships; proven ability to influence and present ideas clearly to senior leadersDetailed in approach and able to produce work to the highest standard.High level of initiative and a proactive, forward-thinking attitudeExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 softwareWhy we love working here :
