  • The Project

CPB Contractors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now and will go through until mid-2026.

  • Our minimum requirements for this role
  • Minimum five years' experience supervising and leading crews large SMP projects.
  • Structure Steel experience.
  • Crane & Rigging background.
  • Experience in Conveyor - Pump alignment, Crusher experience
  • Ability to maximize productivity rates and report on production and progress.
  • Frontline Management or similar supervisor training preferred.
  • A collaborative and diligent attitude to project delivery and commitment to promoting a friendly team environment on site.
  • Absolute commitment to safety in everything you do.
  • High Risk Licence (RI & RA), EWP Ticket, Working at Heights (Advantage)
  • Hold unit of competency - CPCWHS1001, Prepare to work safety in the construction industry (White Card)
  • Australian Driver's Licence
  • Previous BHP schedule 26 Supervisor certificate (Advantage)
  • Weld Ticket (Advantage)
  • Willingness to work on 14 days on, 7 days off, Fly in Fly out roster.
