Afternoon Shift Maintenance Fitter | $110K+ | Wacol

Our client is a global leader in the industrial manufacturing space, known for producing high-performance products used across major construction and infrastructure projects. Their Wacol facility is a key part of their Australian operations, and they pride themselves on quality, innovation, and a people-first culture. What are the benefits?

  • Afternoon shift hours (2pm–10pm)
  • 95K–$100K + 15% shift allowance = $110K–$115K package
  • Ongoing, full-time position

What will you be doing?

  • Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance across plant machinery
  • Diagnosing faults and working to minimise downtime
  • Completing inspections, repairs, and system improvements
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining clean work areas
  • Collaborating with the team to support production targets
  • What do you need?

  • Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade)
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments
  • Driver’s License
  • Forklift License
  • Be able to work and manage with others as part of a team
  • Ability to motivate and excite staff
  • Supervise and manage delegated staff
  • Self-Motivated and proactive attitude
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid maths skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to solve problems on the go
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
  • Be able to follow processes and procedures
