The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and business-savvy General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, drive financial performance, and lead our commercial and business development functions. Key Responsibilities Lead the company's commercial, financial, and operational strategyOversee budgets, cash flow, project costing, and financial reportingWork closely with the CEO and engineering leads to ensure commercial viability of projectsNegotiate with customers, suppliers, and partners to maximise ROIOversee business development, marketing, and client engagementIdentify and mitigate commercial and contractual risksDrive the preparation of financial models, grant applications, and business casesManage external accounting providers and internal financial processes (e.g., payroll, payables)Seek out financing opportunities and strategic partnershipsFoster a high-performing, values-driven team cultureAbout You Proven experience as a General Manager, Commercial Manager, or senior business leader in an engineering, technology, or project-based companyStrong financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and financial systemsStrategic thinker with operational execution capabilityStrong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skillsBusiness development experience with a track record of growth and relationship buildingDegree in business, commerce, engineering, or a related disciplineBonus : experience with project financing, HR management, or XeroWhy Join Us?
