Job Description

The Student Counsellor is responsible for creating a caring college environment which recognises the diversity of our students.

This is a part time opportunity based at our Brisbane Campus. The hours can be flexible to suit the ideal candidate, however there is a requirement to attend campus every Thursday.

The position is responsible for :

• Raising the profile of student support services across the college and increase the help-seeking behaviours and mental health awareness of students.
• Providing counselling to students on welfare matters
• Developing programs and services that promote students' well-being
• Liaison with academic staff, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on student support needs, referral and advocacy.
