As part of this next stage of growth, we are seeking a commercially driven and forward-thinking Head of Finance to join the executive team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, shaping strategic direction, and supporting continued investment into innovation and international markets.

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, this role will be pivotal in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include :

• Managing all ASX financial reporting, statutory compliance, and market disclosures.
• Ensuring adherence to Australian Accounting Standards and corporate governance requirements.
• Liaising with auditors, legal, and external advisors to support audit and compliance processes.
• Acting as a strategic finance partner to the CFO and Board, delivering insights to guide planning and growth.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis.
• Collaborating with R&D, commercial, and international teams to evaluate investments and support global expansion.
• Overseeing commercial aspects of supplier contracts, capex, and financial risk.
• Managing R&D tax incentive submissions and compliance.
• Leading and developing a high-performing finance team across financial control, FP&A, and compliance
• Maintain robust financial controls and risk management frameworks to support the company's growth trajectory.
• Oversee tax compliance, treasury, insurance and cash flow management.
• Any other ad hoc projects that are relevant.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a CA / CPA qualified finance leader with over a decade of experience in senior roles across dynamic, growth-oriented businesses. With a strong track record in ASX-listed or publicly held environments, they will bring deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, compliance, risk management, and capital strategy. They will have demonstrated success in partnering with CEOs and Boards to guide strategic decision-making and have led high-performing finance teams through periods of transformation and scale-up. Their background includes exposure to international markets and R&D-intensive industries, making them well-suited to a complex, innovation-led environment. A confident communicator and trusted advisor, this individual brings strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
