FINANCIAL PLANNER / ASSOCIATE PLANNER FOR DOCTORSBrisbane Inner CBD North - HerstonFull-timeABOUT THE ROLEThis is an exciting role providing holistic advice to doctors and their families across a broad range of relevant areas, such as investing, tax planning, personal insurance and lending.

This often includes working closely with their other professional advisers, utilising an integrated multi-disciplinary approach to save them time and achieve the best outcomes.This will suit a dedicated and highly motivated financial planner seeking a long-term career with the practice with a strong desire to expand their depth and range of expertise.To support your success and the best outcomes for clients, yourself and the practice, there are three stages to the role : Working closely with the principal financial adviser in an associate adviser-like role with a dual focus on : a. your training, andb.

freeing up the principal's time to train you and look after clients (~6-12 months).Transferring some clients to you, as well as comprehensive support to help build your client base, strengthen client relationships and work closely with referral partners (after ~6-12 months).Looking after your own client base and supporting the principal financial planner and practice manager with 1-2 other key aspects of the practice.This role requires a person with superior communication skills, an ability to engage well with highly intelligent professional clients, a strong willingness to learn, be a FASEA compliant qualified financial adviser and have a sound knowledge of financial products, services and markets – including insurance.The overall impact of this role will be to enhance our capacity to help more Doctors and their families, and enable the director more time to focus on other key aspects of the practice.The successful applicant will be one of the key people in our practice and will play a very importantrole in looking after clients and providing great advice.ABOUT USDoctors Wealth Planning is a boutique financial planning practice located in Herston (about 2km from the CBD) and established in 2011 : Offering specialist advice for Doctors and their families to grow and protect their wealth, live their best life and achieve financial freedom.Dedicated to doing a great job for a small number of clients.
