Construction Manager - Landscape Construction

The Company

Our client is a well-known name in the landscape construction world, with continuously growing offices and site teams. They currently employ over 50 staff across the business, involved in Landscape Construction and Maintenance.

They have a phenomenal reputation for their high-quality and award-winning portfolio of projects throughout Sydney and wider New South Wales.

They take on projects up to $10 million including the landscape packages on hotels, universities, subdivisions, sports facilities, shopping centers, hospitals, defence, parks, and playgrounds.

The Opportunity

With some large projects being signed off for later this year and deep into 2026, our client is looking to make a major hire by introducing an overarching Construction Manager to oversee Project Managers and construction activities in the business.

A very rare and unique opening for an ambitious individual to oversee the division and to focus on pre-construction through to project delivery.

You will operate autonomously but will have continual one-on-one support from the General Manager, build relationships with your in-house team and clients, and represent the brand as a key member

The Role

• Oversee the bid and tender process
• Drive growth strategies
• Drive a positive company culture
• Delegate work to Project Managers and Site Managers
• Implement safety, quality, and compliance processes
• Set budgets and forecasts
• Liaise and consult with clients
• Recruit key staff members
• Report into the General Manager

The Requirements

• 3-5 years as a senior manager (Construction Manager or Operations Manager) in the commercial or civil landscaping sector
• Certificate III in Landscape Construction OR Horticulture (Required)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction (Bonus)
• Extensive experience and network in the Australian market
