Full Time Experienced Equine Veterinarian Required

Location : Swan Valley, Perth, Western Australia

An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, team orientated Equine Vet position at our growing 3 vet equine only, first opinion and referral hospital, offering an annual salary of $100-150,000.

Belvoir Equine Hospital is located on 64 acres of river frontage alongside a boutique TB stud farm in the beautiful Swan Valley, 30 minutes from Perth CBD and world class beaches. We are surrounded by horses, vineyards, quality restaurants and craft breweries, hence providing the perfect opportunity to balance a professional career with lifestyle. The Swan Valley is a beautiful location to live in, providing all the attractions you would normally have to travel for. Margaret River is only a 3 hour drive and Broome a short flight, not to mention many other exciting destinations.

The practice offers full surgical, medicine, performance, reproductive, intensive care, and neonatal facilities, fully supported by a dedicated nursing team with everyone focusing on the level of professionalism, service and care provided.

The practice services some of Western Australia's leading studs and trainers as well as performance and pleasure horse owners. We have a full surgical facility and perform laparotomy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, laser surgery and fracture repair procedures. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, video endoscopy, shock wave therapy, motorised dental rasp, laboratory facilities and surgical laser.

You will have an interesting and varied surgical case load with the back-up of experienced vets - including a consultant surgeon, fantastic nurses and excellent facilities. Work will be both ambulatory and clinic based. All areas of equine practice will be covered. You will take part in an equally shared 'on call' roster with support and back-up always available.

You must hold a veterinary degree registerable in WA. Assistance with visas and sponsorship can be provided.
