Help empower individuals and families to live well with diabetes in a role that blends autonomy, collaboration, and meaningful patient connection. As a Clinical Nurse – Diabetes Educator with Darling Downs Health, you'll use your specialist knowledge to deliver evidence-based care and education across a diverse population. With the opportunity to lead, influence, and mentor within a supportive team, you'll be shaping better health outcomes and supporting lifelong change in a community-focused setting.

What Your Day Will Look Like….

You'll deliver tailored education and support to people living with Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes, using clinical expertise to develop care plans that truly meet individual needs. Your work will span health promotion, referrals, and consultation—whether leading group sessions, supporting ward-based interventions, or advising peers through best-practice guidance. With each conversation and care plan, you'll offer not only insight, but encouragement—helping people take charge of their health with confidence.
