Talent International is searching for experienced Automation Tester to join a large consulting firm. This is a 12-month contract role based in Brisbane.

• About the Role
• As the Automation Test Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering a trading capability. Part of the role will be that of a traditional tester. You will assist in the review of current testing tools and architecture and build out test and automation harnesses to reduce the level of manual testing in both Institutional Equities and Fixed Income streams of work. This may also involve coding and scripting.
• In this role you will
• Be involved in our enterprise build framework, and assist in the deployment and release process
• Contribute to the agile team culture, through promotion of test automation, continuous deployment, and scrum. best practice
• Build out test automation frameworks in multiple scrum teams and provide metrics for automation reporting
• Skills and Experience Required
• At least 5 years of software development & testing experience, minimum 2 -3 in Regression testing, Compatibility Testing, Accessibility Testing.
• Experienced in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Non-Functional Testing.
• Experience of designing, developing, and executing unit, integration, system, regression, and performance tests years in.NET development (Framework / Core), Selenium, Specflow and unit testings
• Strong C# coding
• Experience of building automation test solution for all different UI types of UI testings (Visual Design, Functionality, Accessibility, Usability, Performance, and compliance)
• Knowledge of serverless computing
• Knowledge of DevOps, TFS ,PowerShell and auto test integration wit CI / CD
• Exposure to an Agile Development Methodology would be beneficial
• Full familiarity with automation test (QA) life cycle (from writing Test Cases to integrating the automation solution to the delivery pipeline), approaches and processes and tools such as TDD and BDD
• Experience working with EF, Dapper and ADO
• Fair skills around database development (SQL Server / T-Sql)
• In depth knowledge of OOP principles, N-layered architecture and microservice.
