About the Role As an Operator Maintainer at Karara, you'll be crucial to the daily operations of both fixed and mobile plant equipment, helping keep Karara Mining's Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) running smoothly. You'll join a close-knit team of 40, working in a cutting-edge facility with a mobile, extendable conveyor system that reduces costs and environmental impact.

What You'll Do In this role, you'll report to the Shift Supervisor and be responsible for :

Operating various mobile plant equipment, ensuring compliance with VOC requirements. Assisting with maintenance of the conveyor system and equipment housekeeping. Running the control room and maintaining communication with the team. Conducting inspections and reporting defects or issues. Performing pre-start checks and supporting repairs. Key Responsibilities Safely operate mobile plant equipment. Coordinate with the Leading Hand to follow operational schedules. Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Follow safety procedures and maintain HSE standards. Assist with plant cleaning and general maintenance. Skills and Qualifications Current HR Driver's License. Mandatory certifications : EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card. Competency in operating skid steers, loaders (CAT 992, CAT 988 / WA900), dump trucks, and watercarts. Desirable skills : Experience with FLS-Stockpile conveyor system, First Aid Certificate, competency in dozers and graders.
