You know the type... The person who can walk into a room full of estimators, schedulers, drafters and production leads and somehow speak everyone's language.
The one who turns bottlenecks into breakthroughs and knows when to push, when to pause, and when to pick up the phone instead of sending an email.
That's who we're looking for.
This isn't a job someone's just left. It's a role that's never existed before — carved out to make a business run better and a team work smarter. You won't be following someone else's footsteps. You'll be setting the pace.
The big picture :
You'll be the go-to person in the space between design and delivery. Not doing the drawings. Not swinging the steel. But making sure both ends of the chain have what they need to fire.
The estimating, scheduling and admin team (15 strong) will report into you. You'll partner with a Production Manager who knows their stuff, and a GM who trusts you to do yours.
You'll have influence. Autonomy. And the backing of one of WA's most respected residential construction groups to help you grow if that's your thing.
Why this role stands out : It's a clean slate. No legacy headaches. No messy handovers. You get to make this yours. The GM isn't looking over your shoulder. They're looking for someone they can back, support and bounce ideas off. The team? Diverse, multicultural, experienced and ready to be led well. It's got structure, but not red tape. Freedom to make meaningful changes. You get your own car bay, flexible hours and plenty of runway. And if you want a career path that could lead into operations, project leadership or senior management — it's right here. Or if you're just looking to finally find a stable, grown-up job with good people, no drama and real impact — that's here too. You might be an estimator, scheduler, drafter or construction admin lead right now. But you're more than that.
You've got a knack for people, and you're ready to lead. You like structure, but not being boxed in. You know residential construction (or modular or commercial), and you've probably said more than once : "If I were running this part, it'd go smoother."
Now's your chance.
You'll need : Solid background in residential construction (commercial or modular is fine too) People management experience — even if it's informal A level head, a curious brain and a bit of backbone (pun fully intended) The ability to lead a team where English isn't everyone's first language A licence, a clear police check, and a genuine love of fixing the unfixable This is the role you wish someone would give you.
Now we're giving it.
